Happy February to you all! We have a great selection for you this month. As per quite a few boxes last year, we have managed to secure two albums for you as a bonus. We’ve heard the feedback that you do love those months when we can get you two LPs rather than an LP and a 12” so we’re doing our best to continue this!
As always, if you have any other feedback, or need anything from us, you can get a hold of the support team here:

Now, on to the vinyl:
Our first album is a trip back to 1977, and to the hard bop jazz era. Baltimore pianist and composer Albert Dailey is a relative unknown despite having played with jazz giants Sonny Rollins, Stan Getz, Elvin Jones, and Archie Shepp. He released three albums before his untimely death at 45 years old in 1984, this being the second. “Reneissance” is a lovely, lovely LP that deserves to be sat down with, accompanied by a good cup of coffee (or tea if that’s your thing) and a thick book.
The second LP is a lovely synth-driven indie-electro Americana laced with pop sensibilities. “Time In The Sun” is the 4th full length album from Charleston, SC band Susto. The album was written and recorded in the midst of a lot of life changing events for lead writer/singer Justin Osborne.
Like everyone around the world, Osborne was navigating the global issues felt from the pandemic while normal life continued with its own blessings and challenges.. "We were navigating the global and national issues that everyone else was dealing with, but also I became a father and also lost my father. There was a lot of contemplation going on in my brain, a lot of personal evolution going on in my life, and songwriting was my way of working through it all.
Despite the heavy issues tackled, the album is uplifting; ending on a hopeful “They say a new day is comin’;” the perfect end to a complicated, ultimately satisfying album.
