Happy holidays everyone. We hope you have a lovely December, and that the New Year treats you well!

Now, on to this month’s records. With the amount of months we’ve sent out two albums instead of the advertised album and single this year, it would have felt wrong to do anything else, so once again there are two albums in this box!

LP number one is the debut album from legendary Irish band, The Pale. “Here's One We Made Earlier” was first released back in 1992 to critical acclaim, & was followed by a consistent output from the band until their last album in 2019. Lots of different influences to pick through here, & overall the album is a great slice of early ‘90s loveliness. The Pale have had little bits of chart success here or there (in Turkey, Israel and France ), but have mostly stayed under the mainstream radar over the years. Frontman Matthew Deveraux has recently released a solo album, so go check that out if you want to explore their work more!

LP number 2 (or joint number 1 really) is fourth album from indie/synth pop outfit Teleman. “Good Time/Hard Time” is their first album in four years, and first as a trio. “You’ve got to experience the hard times to appreciate the good times in life,” frontman Thomas Sanders says of the album. “Most of the songs are about universal things everyone can relate to, the small and simple details about difficult connections and overcoming them.” This is a danceable, catchy collection of tunes to keep you happy on those cold winter days.
